WhatsApp Whapi.Cloud Integration — is the ability to connect a personal WhatsApp number to the Leeloo.AI platform through WhatsApp Web, which allows centralized management of all customer communications in one place.

Important!

When using this connection method, sending messages with buttons is not available. Only standard text and media messages are supported.

For automated tunnels and scheduled messages, avoid bulk sendings. If the system detects spam patterns (for example, identical messages to many contacts), the account may be blocked by WhatsApp.

Before starting

Required access rights:

For successful connection of WhatsApp to the Leeloo.AI platform, make sure you have:

✅ Access to WhatsApp number — full control over the phone with active WhatsApp
✅ Administrator rights in Leeloo.AI — access to settings and integrations section
✅ Rights to create and edit tunnels — ability to configure automation
✅ Access to "Audience" section — for mass actions with audience

Step-by-step instruction

Step 1: Registration in Whapi.Cloud

The first step — creating an account in the Whapi.Cloud service.

Actions:

  1. Open browser and go to the official website https://whapi.cloud/

  2. Click the "Get Started Free" button in the upper right corner of the page

  3. Fill out the registration form:

    • Email — specify working email

    • Password — create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)

  4. Accept the service terms of use by checking the box "I agree to Terms of Service"

  5. Click the "Create Account" button

  6. Check the specified email and confirm registration by entering the code specified in the letter

  7. After confirmation, log in to the Whapi.Cloud personal account using the created credentials

Step 2: Connecting WhatsApp number

Now it is necessary to link your WhatsApp number with the Whapi.Cloud account through WhatsApp Web.

Actions:

  1. In the Whapi.Cloud personal account, find the "Channels" section in the side menu

  2. Click the "+ Add Channel" button You will be redirected to the payment window, click on the text "

    Switch to Sandbox mode with limits" below, switching to Sandbox mode

  3. The system will display a QR code for connection

  4. Scan the QR code from the Whapi.Cloud screen by pointing the phone camera at the monitor

  5. On the final point "Finish Settings", be sure to enable all "Auto Download" items

  6. Click "Save & Next"

  7. In the "Channels" section, your connected WhatsApp number will appear with status "Active"

Step 3: Activating media file download

CRITICALLY IMPORTANT: This step must be completed BEFORE copying the access token!

If you added your WhatsApp but skipped the "Final Settings" step, you need to enable

  1. In the "Channels" section, click on the connected WhatsApp number

  2. Go to the "Settings" tab (Upper right)

  3. Find the "Auto Download" section

  4. Activate all switches

  5. Click the "Save" button

Step 4: Getting access token

Access token — is a unique key that links your WhatsApp channel with the Leeloo.AI platform.

Actions:

  1. In the "Channels" section, click on the connected WhatsApp number

  2. In the center of the screen there will be a "Token" field

    • The token is a long string of characters

  3. Click the "Copy" button next to the token or click on the token itself to copy

Step 5: Connection with Leeloo.AI

Now integrate WhatsApp with the Leeloo.AI platform using the obtained token:

  1. Log in to the Leeloo.AI platform

  2. Go to the "Settings" section (gear icon in the left side menu)

  3. Select the "Integrations" subsection then "Messengers"

  4. Find "Whapi.Cloud" in the list of available integrations

  5. Click the button on the Whapi.Cloud icon

  6. Fill in the access token (API Token) — paste the copied token from Whapi.Cloud

  7. Click the "Connect" button

  8. Wait for the message "Connection successful"

  9. The integration will appear in the list of active channels with status "Enabled" (green icon)
