Comments under posts on Instagram, replies to stories, replies to direct messages - all these are lead generation methods that are now available with Instagram integration into Lila.

Instagram, similar to Facebook, has restrictions:

24-hour rule, where after 24 hours after the bot’s last message, communication with a person will be unavailable until he responds to your bot. To avoid this, engage the person in communication with the bot so that it sends messages regularly.

The buttons only work from a mobile phone. Rarely does anyone use Instagram from a PC, but still)

There is no LGT for Instagram; it implements a different principle of lead generation through: replies to stories, comments on posts, direct messages.

In order to connect Instagram, you will need:

Facebook Account

1. Facebook account on which the page was created. (or create a new one in Facebook. Section Pages - Create new)

Business Account Instagram

2. Instagram business account. Which you can either switch to in the Instagram application settings, or create a new business account.

Facebook Page

3. The Facebook page with which you will need to link your Instagram account. This page must be connected to Lila, too.

Linking FB page to Instagram account

Go to FB to your page that needs to be linked to Instagram and click “connect Instagram”

Log in to your Instagram account and give the necessary permissions

 

After you have created an Instagram business account, linked it to your Facebook page and given permission to exchange messages, we proceed to connecting your Instagram account to Lil.

In order to connect your Instagram account to Lila, go to the Settings - Messengers section, click on the “Update permissions” button

After this, we proceed step by step, log in to the FB account to which Instagram is linked. After you go through all the steps and give all the permissions, click “+new connection”, select Instagram and select the page to connect.

 

At this point the connection is complete, you can go directly to the settings.

Before making settings in Lilu, you need to publish a post or stories on Instagram.

In order to set the settings for subscribing via Instagram, open the section AI support - Automation of responses - Replies to Instagram comments.

Creating an Instagram bot menu

  • When replying to stories, the user will immediately subscribe to the LGT you specified

  • when replying to an Instagram post, the user will subscribe after he replies something to the message that will come to him automatically, therefore, for Insta posts, use replies with a call to action.

  • if you correspond not through the platform, but directly in Direct, then such messages will not be displayed on the platform

If you want to set a universal response to any direct message from your bot, use the response to an unrecognized message.

If you want to track a specific answer, use Smart Replies for your Instagram bot.

Checking your Instagram account subscription

Trigger "subscribe to page". With its help, you can check whether a person is subscribed to your Instagram account or not, in order to implement even more actions with your subscribers.
There are 2 states: subscribed to the page, unsubscribed from the page.

For it to work, a trigger must be launched for the person, the countdown must begin, during the time specified in the trigger the person must subscribe to an Instagram page that is connected to the platform and write a message to the Instagram bot so that the system understands that he has subscribed.

Setting up a sales tunnel.

The beginning of the tunnel begins with the LGT block, then there are 2 filters: the first - through the communication channel, in order to check that the person has subscribed from Instagram, the next, the filter “by subscribing to the page” which checks whether the person has subscribed to an Instagram account or not.

In order to create such a scheme step by step and check it, you need to:

create a sales tunnel and create an LGT Smart Answer in it. After which, connect and add a chain of messages. For the test, for now you can simply add any message with the words “test test” and in the future you will add your content.

Go to the AI support - Smart answers section and check that you have selected the “default answers” answer category

  2. Click on the “Create group” button and in the window that appears, in the “select leadgeantool” field, add the created LGT Smart answer. To add, start typing its name and you will be offered a choice from the drop-down list.

     

  3. After adding a smart answer, you need to set trigger words. Enter a word and click on the “add” button

     

  4. By clicking on the “add response” button, a message constructor will open where you can add content that will be sent to the person after he enters the keyword that you specified.

After you have completed these settings, go to the direct message of your Instagram page that you connected (use any other page to check) and send the trigger word. In response, you will first receive the message that you specified in the “add response” field, and then the sending of content from the sales tunnel will begin.
