Reconnecting channels (bot reconnection)

In this instruction, we will go over the actions to take if the bot loses connection with a channel (for example, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, or others).

While working with channels, connection issues sometimes arise.

As a rule, the need to update the connection is a limitation imposed by messenger developers. Therefore, channels in some messengers may experience these issues more frequently than others.

When one of your channels loses connection, our platform will notify you via email: a message will be sent to the email address used during company registration. You will also see a red indicator next to the "Settings" section, signaling that one or more channels cannot connect to the messengers.

1. To reconnect the bot, go to the "Settings" section on the platform.

2. Next, open the "Messengers" section.

3. Select the required messenger (for example, Telegram) and click "More Details".

4. In the window that opens, simply click the "Reconnect" button. After this, the bot will be reconnected, and the reconnection date will be updated.

1. To reconnect bots from the Meta platform (Facebook Messenger / Instagram Direct), you may need to update permissions or reestablish the connection with Facebook.

2. To reconnect the bot, go to the "Settings → Integrations → Messengers" section on the platform. Then select the required Meta messenger and click "More Details".

3. In the window that opens, click "Reconnect".

4. If you previously connected the communication channel but do not see it in the list, click the "Stopped" button.

5. If the "Reconnect" button is unavailable (highlighted in gray), you need to click the "Update Permissions" → "Establish Connection with Facebook" button at the top of the page.
