Responses to Instagram comments
You can set up an automatic response that will be sent to a user in Messenger if they comment on a post on your public Instagram page. If they respond to the automatic reply, they may be subscribed to a specific tunnel
How to add a response to an Instagram comment?
Different responses depending on the comment text
1. How to add a response to an Instagram comment?
To set up an automatic reply and subscription to a tunnel when commenting on an Instagram page post, follow these steps:
In the "AI Support" section, hover over the "Response Automation" tab and select "Instagram Comment Responses"
In the opened tab, click the "Add Instagram post" button
Select the Instagram page from the list of connected pages on the platform
You will see a list of posts from the selected page, including their creation dates. Select a post from the list, for which an automatic response will be sent when it is commented on, and click the "Select" button
Enter the post title (1). By default, it will match the text of the post, so shorten it. Enter the response that will be sent to the user via direct message (2). Enter the response to the comment (3)
After that, click the "Submit" button.
The response automation feature allows you to automatically react to comments under selected Instagram posts and subscribe the user to a lead generation tunnel (LGT).
Selecting a Post
In the "Response Automation" section, under the Instagram Comments tab, select the desired Instagram post (e.g., Test) from the list in the left column.
Setting Up the Response Group
After selecting the post, a response group will appear, which includes the following fields:
(1) Chat Message — This is the message that will be sent to Direct if a user leaves a comment under the post.
👉 Example: “Thank you for reaching out!”
(2) Comment Reply — This is a public comment that will appear in response to the user's comment.
👉 Example: “We've replied to your Direct message”
Selecting a Lead Generation Tool (Leadgentool, LGT)
(3) “Choose leadgentool” Field — Select a lead generation tool from the dropdown menu. The user will be subscribed to this tool after receiving the message in Direct.
Enable AI Assistant
(4) Enable the AI assistant to automatically reply to follower comments.
Add Buttons
(5) You can add up to 3 buttons for response options.
Important: The content of the template must comply with the messenger's message format and content requirements.
2. Different responses depending on the text of the comment.
You can add multiple messages that will be sent in response to a comment on the post, depending on the keywords present in the comment text. To do this, create a new group by clicking the "Add new group" button
Under the default response group (Default response group), a new empty response group will appear. You can give this group a name (1). In field (2), enter a list of keywords, and when one of these keywords is found in a comment to the post, the message from field (3) will be sent. After entering the keywords, press the Enter key. In field (3), enter the direct message response. In field (4), enter the comment response. In field (5), select the lead generation tool through which the user will be subscribed to the tunnel
If one of the specified keywords is found in the comment to the post, the message entered in field (3) will be sent to the commentator's messenger. If the commentator replies to the message, they will be subscribed to the tunnel linked to the LGT selected in field (5). If no LGT is selected, the commentator will be subscribed to the default tunnel
If a keyword from the created group is found in the comment, the message from the "default messages" group will not be sent
The default response group can be deactivated by clicking the switch (1). Then, messages will only be sent from the created groups when a keyword is detected in the comment.
The created group can be deleted (2). You can also completely remove all responses to comments for a specific post by clicking the "Remove Instagram post" button (3)
Adding a response message for another Facebook post is similar. Go to step (1) and follow the instructions
