1. Introduction

Definition

Sales Tunnels is the central Leeloo.AI module for building automated message and action chains. A tunnel is a tree-like structure of blocks of different types (8 types: LGT, Message, Delay, Trigger, Filter, Action, Static Menu, Note) that a subscriber moves through after subscribing via LGT. It is used across the Engage, Manage, Convert, and Retain lifecycle stages — the main engine of the platform's lifecycle automation.

A tunnel reads from Communication Channels (connected messengers, email, SMS), LGT (entry point), Client's Card (subscriber behavior and tags), Offers and Payment Gateways (for the «Buy» CTA). It writes to Client's Card (subscription events, block movement, branching metadata), Orders & Sales (via CTA buttons), and Analytics (events for LGT and block analytics). It is a fundamental prerequisite — Smart Sender relies on tunnels, CRM tracks tunnel state, the Webinar Module is wired into tunnel blocks, and Dialogues are a continuation of the tunnel beyond the first lifecycle.

B2B operator (marketer, sales manager, or content manager) assembles the tunnel from blocks in a visual editor: drags LGT → Message → Delay → Action, sets branching via Filter and Trigger blocks, and connects blocks with links. They can clone the tunnel, archive it, or export it for sharing through the library.

B2C client (subscriber) does not see the tunnel itself — they receive messages in the communication channel they chose at subscription, react to CTA buttons, and follow the links. Each of their actions (click, open, reaction, purchase) triggers movement along the corresponding branch of the tunnel.

The following is written to Client's Card: tunnel subscription (with the source LGT noted), timing for each block traversal, trigger and filter outcomes, CTA-button events, and purchases. A single subscriber can be in multiple tunnels at the same time — progress states are independent.

After reading this you will understand:

  • what a sales tunnel is and its role in Leeloo.AI lifecycle automation;

  • how the tunnels list is organized: creation, search, analytics, archive;

  • how to navigate inside a tunnel: switching between LGTs, tunnel actions, the workspace;

  • which 8 block types are available and what each one is used for (with the color scheme);

  • the principle of subscriber movement through the tunnel (forward only, no loops);

  • how conditions work in Filter and Trigger blocks.

Purpose

Sales Tunnels is the main engine of lifecycle automation in Leeloo.AI. They turn scattered communication actions (broadcasts, replies, reactions) into a controllable tree-like structure with conditions and branching. The exact function of a tunnel within business processes depends on the customer lifecycle stage it is used at.

Engage — after subscription via LGT, the tunnel guides the subscriber through a warming sequence: Message → Delay → Message — with CTA buttons that deepen engagement. The job — systematically warm up every new subscriber from first introduction to readiness for a commercial offer.

Manage — triggers and filters inside the tunnel orchestrate touchpoints: they branch subscribers by behavior (purchased / didn't, watched the webinar / didn't, clicked / didn't). Action blocks activate integrations, set tags, and switch subscribers to other tunnels. The job — manage the subscriber portfolio through automated condition-based touchpoints.

Convert — «Buy» CTA buttons open the offer directly from the tunnel; Action blocks can change deal status in CRM; the tunnel carries the subscriber all the way to the Payment Gateway without losing context. The job — turn a warmed audience into buyers through instant CTA-driven transitions inside the tunnel.

Retain — repeat tunnels with filters such as «30 days since purchase» or «paid for course X → propose course Y» bring clients back into the funnel. Dialogues continue the tunnel beyond the first lifecycle. The job — retain existing clients through repeat tunnels with triggers tied to product lifecycles.

2. Tunnels list

The «Sales Tunnels» tab is where all your tunnels are created and stored. A tunnel is a tree-like structure: it is built from blocks, and blocks form the branches of the funnel.

2.1. Tunnels list elements

  1. Button to add a new tunnel.

  2. Search panel by tunnel name. Switching the option to «by LGT» searches by LGT name instead.

  3. Block displaying the number of pages.

  4. Button to select the search type (by tunnel name or LGT).

  5. Tunnel action button.

2.2. Tunnel card

  1. Tunnel analytics panel. More details — in the Analytics section; data per block and per button is available inside the tunnel by clicking on a specific block or button.

  2. Tunnel avatar upload window — helps highlight the tunnel in the general list.

  3. Tunnel name. Clicking opens the tunnel itself. A rename icon appears on hover.

  4. Tunnel creation date.

  5. Button to remove the tunnel avatar.

A deleted tunnel can be restored in the «Tunnels Archive» section — click «Restore» under the desired tunnel.

3. Navigation inside a tunnel

Once a tunnel is opened, navigation across its elements becomes available — switching between tunnels, viewing LGTs, tunnel actions, and workspace settings.

3.1. Return to the tunnels list

The «Back to Tunnels List» button or the «Sales Tunnels» breadcrumb returns you to the general list.

3.2. Switch to another tunnel

Click the search button and select a name from the list of your tunnels.

3.3. LGTs list inside the tunnel

All LGTs in the tunnel are accessible via the «LGT» button. In the opened list:

  1. The «Show statistics of all LGTs» button.

  2. LGT search by name.

3.4. Tunnel actions

The action button gives you:

  • create a copy of the tunnel;

  • archive;

  • export (to share via the library);

  • check related elements;

  • check connections (jump to the integrations section to verify the status of the connected bot).

3.5. Archive of deleted blocks

The «Archive» button opens the list of previously deleted blocks.

  1. Search a deleted block by name.

  2. The «Restore» button returns the block to the tunnel.

3.6. Detailed tunnel statistics

The «More details» button — tunnel statistics and a list of errors for related elements.

3.7. Workspace controls

  1. Filter content by used messengers.

  2. View archived blocks of the tunnel and connections between them.

  3. Switch mode: block content view ↔ selection.

  4. Find a block by name on the workspace.

  5. Workspace zoom slider.

  6. Connection visualization and color scheme for connections in the funnel.

4. Block types in a tunnel

A tunnel is assembled from blocks of different types. Each type has its own color on the workspace — this helps you navigate the funnel at a glance.

5. How a tunnel works

A tunnel is an automated mailing. A subscription happens when a user visits your landing page (LGT).

After subscribing, the client receives a message from the first block. The user then moves through the blocks following the logical sequence you set. When a block is activated, its conditions are checked:

  • if the conditions are met, the block's message is sent to the subscriber, and the movement continues;

  • if not met, that branch's activation is paused until the conditions are satisfied.

In branching blocks you can set additional branches for users whose conditions were not met. A tunnel works only forward: looping blocks back into each other is not allowed. On such a logical error, the connections between the looped blocks are highlighted in red.
