This type of LGT is used exclusively for lead generation in Facebook Messenger.
It is designed to work in conjunction with Facebook Business Manager ads.
Creating an LGT of the "FB Ad" type
To create an LGT of the "FB Ad" type, follow these steps:
Go to the "Sales Funnels" section and open the required funnel.
Right-click (for Windows) or tap with two fingers on the touchpad (for MacOS) in an empty field of your funnel. Select "Lead Generation Tool", then "FB Ad", and click "Create".
When creating an LGT of the "FB Ad" type, choose the content type (with or without an image).
Fill in the required fields:
Image (if using the "Text & Image" format): This is the image your client will see. The recommended aspect ratio is 2:1.
Title: The LGT title visible to the client (maximum 68 characters).
Subtitle: The lead subtitle visible to the client (maximum 72 characters).
Button Name: The button label the client will see.
Communication Channel: The Facebook page through which the connection with the subscriber will be established.
Using LGT of the "FB Ad" type
LGT of the "FB Ad" type can only be used within Facebook and inside Facebook Messenger.
To place an FB Ad LGT, follow these steps:
Log in to your Facebook account, open Ads Manager, and click "+ Create".
Select Campaign Objective → "Engagement", then click "Continue".
Select Campaign Setup → "Manual Setup", then click "Continue".
Fill in the campaign details and click "Next".
Define your audience settings. In the "Placements" section, select FB Messenger, then click "Next".
Fill in the Ad Details. Select "Partner Application" as the Message Template.
Under "Partner Offering", click "Select Chain".
In the "Partner Application" tab, click "Enter JSON Code".
In the "Advanced JSON Setup" window, add the LGT JSON code, then click "Save".
The launched ad will start generating new leads on the platform.
