Roles creation

This tab allows you to create, configure and delete roles.
Each user in a company has a role.

A role defines those pages and those controls on pages that are available to the user.

A role is a set of permissions.

Please note that if you give a role permission to edit, it must also be given permission to view.
Permission is tied either to the page or to elements on the page.

  1. Go to "Settings"
    Select "Roles"
    Click "Create Role"
A window will open to you, as in the screenshot below, where by opening each of the categories, you can specify the permissions that you want to grant to the user for whom you are creating the role. Or select “Enable all rights” if you need it.

1 - field for specifying the role name

2 - button to create a new role

3 - a button that will return you to the previous step to the list of roles.

4 - permission categories

After clicking on each of the permission categories, a window will open in which you need to check the boxes next to the items that you want to activate for the user. In the “View” column you can grant rights only to view information; in the “editing” column you can indicate that the user will be able to make changes to the item you specified. Also, when you hover your cursor over any of the items, a hint will appear.

Before saving a role, set all necessary permissions for it.

After you have entered all the necessary permissions, click on the button

Please note that if you give a role permission to edit, it must also be given permission to view.

Before you delete a role, make sure that it is not in use by any users. You also cannot delete base roles.
