Binotel telephony connection




Integration with Binotel telephony makes it possible to make calls directly from the platform. All outgoing calls will be recorded in the client's card. You can track your call history and listen to call recordings.

Registration and configuration of telephony

Register an account at http://www.binotel.ua/crm-telephony/plug-and-play. Binotel staff will advise you on tariffs, conditions and the process of connecting telephony.

Connecting telephony to the platform

 After connecting telephony, submit a request to the Binotel support service (support@binotel.ua) using the following e-mail from the company administrator at Binotel:

We are clients of Leeloo.ai, whose servers are located on Amazon, so we ask you to open access to the API from any IP addresses and issue an API key and password.

After receiving the API key and password, go to the Leeloo.ai platform, to the Settings → Integrations → IP telephony → + New connection section:

Click on the button to select the company you need to provide IP telephony services (in our case, Binotel):

Fill in the information in the window that opens. In the first field, give the connection a name, for example "Binotel". Insert the key (API Key) into the second field. Insert the password (API Secret) into the third field.

After entering, click on the “Join” button.
If, when you click on the “Join” button, you receive the error “incorrect authentication key for telephony” (see screenshot), this means that you need to contact Binotel support service and clarify that you need Binotel to disable the verification IP address. You must contact the email address of the head or administrator of your company at support@binotel.ua. In your request, please specify that you are a client of Leeloo.ai and that this option was previously agreed upon.

Copy the event URL:

6. Submit a request to the Binotel support service (support@binotel.ua) using the following sample e-mail from the administrator at Binotel:

Please add URL [insert copied URL here] to handle incoming/outgoing calls.

If after this the Binotel technical support service asked you for the type of request for which you need to register a link, then specify: ApiCallCompleted.


Linking a number to an employee

Link the short number that was received during the registration and telephony setup process to the user (company employee). He will be able to make calls to any customers who have a phone directly from the platform.

1. On the Leeloo.ai platform, go to Settings → Company →  Users:

2. Select an employee and click the “+” button opposite the “Phone numbers” field:


3. In the window that appears, select the "Binotel" connection, enter a short phone number for outgoing calls, for example "918" and click the "Save" button:


Activating the program for making calls

The next thing you need to do to make calls from the platform is to launch a calling program, such as Zoiper. In this program you need to enter the data that was given to you by Binotel and log into your account.

To make a call, the program must be running.


Calling a client from the platform

On the Leeloo.ai platform, go to the Chats or CRM section and open the client card by clicking on the client’s name.

If you have connected several short numbers, then select which one you will call from. This number must match the one that was assigned to the user with whose data you entered the program for making calls (for example Zoiper). Otherwise the call will not happen.

Also, by expanding the customer card, you can make a call from the “Phone calls” section

The call will be transferred to the program for making calls. In the lower right corner of the page you will see a pop-up message about an incoming call:

Open the calling application window and pick up the phone by clicking on "Accept":

The client will receive a call and you can start a conversation with him. The recording and history of calls will be saved in the client’s card, in the “Phone calls” section:



Automatic call recording and client card creation


  1. When there is an incoming call, if the manager accepted the call and Binotel has saved a recording of the call, Leeloo.ai will automatically create a client card with the client’s phone number if such a number has not yet been assigned to any client. If such a client already exists, then his card will be updated with a call recording. Example of a created card:
  2. When making an outgoing call, the same thing will happen, if the client picks up the phone and thus generates a call record in Binotel, then in Leeloo.ai a card with the client’s phone number will be automatically created or an existing card will be updated.
    Call records can be found in the client card in the “Phone calls” section.

Deleting

Starting with the update from 0.50.0, it becomes possible to delete IP telephony connections.
