Google Analytics Integration (v4)

Getting Google Analytics Data

  1. Go to Admin → Data Streams → Web

  1. In the flow settings, specify the URL of your website. If you don't have a website, use LGT - http://wep.wf and name it as you prefer. If you have specified a website domain, you can add LGT as a cross-domain.

2.1 Website URL – Enter the link to LGT.

2.2 Flow Name – Enter the name of the data flow.

  1. Click the "Create and Continue" button.

  1. Go to the "API Secret Key for Measurement Protocol" section.

  1. Click "Create."

  1. Enter an alias for the key and click the "Create" button.

Connecting the integration in Leeloo.ai.

  1. Go to the section Settings → Analytics → Google Analytics.

  1. Click the "Add" button.

  1. In the pop-up window, select the integration version (currently, we are considering v4) and enter the data from your GA account: tid and API token. Also, specify the name for this integration within the Leeloo.ai system.

  1. Name: Enter a name for the Google Analytics integration.

    tid: Enter the Google Analytics tracking ID.

    Access Token: Enter the access token received for the integration.

    Google Analytics Version: Select the version (v3 or v4).

    "Save" button: Click to save the data.

    "Close" button: Closes the window without saving changes.

    After that, you can proceed to event configuration.

Event Configuration

  1. Open the integration and click "Add Event."

Using this tid by default for all LGTs and offers means that by default, this tid will be applied to all LGTs and offers created on your http://Leeloo.ai platform account.

  1. Next, you need to define which events and data you want to send to GA. Click the "Add Event" button and specify:

2.1 Platform Name: The name of the event on the Leeloo.ai platform.

2.2 Event: The event type. There are default events, but if you want to send your custom event, select "custom."

2.3 Name: The name the event will be transmitted with, which can only be written using Latin characters.

If you don't add anything else, only the data you specified here will be transmitted. However, if you want to send additional data, click the "Add Parameter" button - string.

  1. After selecting string (string), fields will appear where you can specify which subscriber data you want to transmit.

  1. Enter the name of the parameter you want to transmit.

  2. This field will display the variable or text you selected.

  3. Variable addition button.

  4. Parameter deletion button.

Subscriber data is divided into 4 types: standard, subscription, offer, and order.

Once you have added all the necessary parameters, you can proceed to adding them to LGT, offers, and the sales funnel. In the screenshots above, the "offer" and "order" data are used for offers, while the "subscription" data is used for LGT.

On the Leeloo.ai platform, you can immediately transmit the events you previously set up directly from LGT, offers, and funnels.

LGT

  1. Open the desired LGT and go to the "Traffic" tab.

There, you will see the "FB & Google Analytics" toggle. By opening it, you can add the necessary events.

  1. After clicking the "Add Event" button, a window will appear where you can select the previously set up events.

  1. The type of action during which the event should be sent.

  2. Analytics, where this action will be transmitted.

  3. The event itself that will be transmitted.

Offers

  1. In each offer, a new section "FB & Google Analytics" has been added.

  1. Here, just like in LGT, you select the type of action, the analytics platform where the events will be transmitted, and the event itself that you want to send.

  1. The difference from LGT is that in event types, there are 3 components: completed, failed, and opened. These are the 3 statuses of the offer, and the events will be sent as soon as the specified action occurs.

Sales Funnel through the action block

  1. In the "action" block of the sales funnel, a "Google Analytics" function has been added.

  1. By selecting this function, you can specify the integration and the type of event you want to send.

In this way, you can track any event occurring in the Leeloo.ai system and transmit it to your Google Analytics.

Then, click the "Configure Custom Definitions" button and add "Custom Parameters" and "Custom Metrics."

Custom Parameters are the text values you specified in the event builder in Leeloo.

Custom Metrics are the numerical values you specified in the event builder in Leeloo.
