Account information
1. Introduction
Definition
Account information is a self-service section of the Leeloo.AI platform through which a subscriber can view, retrieve and delete the personal data the business stores about them. The section implements the requirements of the GDPR policy and is used at the Manage and Retain stages: the business remains the owner of the data, while the subscriber gains transparent control over what is known about them.
The section does not exist on its own — it relies on data collected by other platform modules: communication channels, dialogue history, linked bank cards and subscription events. That is why account information always reflects the current state of the client, and any deletion synchronously clears the related entities.
The B2B operator (business owner, marketer or support manager) controls exactly which account data is available for the subscriber to view. They do this through Settings → CRM Settings → Account Information: enabling or disabling the display of name, messenger, phone number, activity history, subscriptions and credit cards.
The B2C client (subscriber) sends the bot the /my_info command on their own, opens the «Cabinet» page in their messenger and sees only the information the operator has allowed to be shown. Here they can request their data, delete a linked bank card or delete the account entirely.
The Client's Card is the central storage of this data. All personal fields (name, messenger, phone, action history, subscriptions, bank cards) live in the Client's Card, and the «Account information» section merely provides the subscriber a safe interface to them. Deleting the account permanently erases the corresponding record from the Client's Card together with the chats. This data falls under GDPR — the regulation requiring transparent storage and the ability to delete a user's personal data.
After reviewing this guide you will understand
what the «Account information» section is and what role it plays in meeting GDPR requirements;
how a subscriber retrieves their data through the
/my_infocommand and the «Cabinet» page;how a client deletes a linked bank card or deletes the account entirely;
how an operator limits the display of individual account fields through the CRM settings;
how these actions relate to the Client's Card and the stages of the client lifecycle.
Purpose
The «Account information» section is a subscriber self-service point for working with personal data. It makes data processing transparent and GDPR-compliant without a manager's involvement: the client retrieves a copy of their data themselves and manages its deletion. The specific function of the section depends on the stage of the client lifecycle.
Manage — the operator configures which account data is visible to the client and keeps it up to date in the Client's Card. The job — to ensure correct and controlled display of the subscriber's personal data in line with company policy.
Retain — the subscriber retrieves their data on their own and manages consent to its storage, which strengthens trust in the brand. The job — to give the client transparent control over personal data and minimize churn risks caused by privacy concerns.
2. Overview of the «Account information» section
The section is available to the subscriber in their messenger through the bot command /my_info and the «Cabinet» button, and to the operator through the CRM settings. Below are the three main scenarios: retrieving data, deleting it and limiting the display of information.
In accordance with the requirements of the GDPR policy, changes have been made to the platform functionality: the client can view and delete the account information that the business stores about them.
2.1. Retrieving data
To retrieve account information, the subscriber needs to:
Send the
/my_infocommand in the chat with the bot and follow the «Cabinet» button that the bot sends.
After clicking the button, a page with the client's account information will open.
2.2. Deleting data
The client can delete linked bank card data for one-click payments by clicking the cross to the right of the card number.
To delete the account entirely, click the profile icon in the upper right corner and select «Delete account»:
After this, the client's account will be completely deleted from the system together with the chats (without the possibility of recovery).
2.3. Limiting information display
The operator can control which account information is displayed to the client and which is not. To do this, go to Settings → CRM Settings → Client Management.
Automatic archiving after unsubscribing: enabling or disabling the function that automatically moves clients to the archive after they unsubscribe.
Account information: the section where you can choose which account data of the client to display.
Personal information:
First and last name: display of the client's first and last name.
Messenger: display of information about the messenger the client communicated through.
Phone number: display of the client's phone number.
Delete account: the ability to delete the client's account.
User actions:
Activity history: displays the list of actions performed by the client.
Subscription cancellation: displays information about the client's subscriptions and the ability to cancel them.
Credit cards:
Display of credit cards: controls the visibility of data about the client's credit cards.
Deletion of a credit card: provides the ability to delete the client's credit card data.
By default, the display of all account information is enabled. To hide the display of certain information, clear the corresponding checkbox and save the changes by clicking the save button.
